Sow the Goals in the Field of Hope!!!!

“What is the thing which is continuously driving you in your life?” I would say HOPE. To achieve any goal or to become successful in life, one needs to have the motivation. The word motivation itself has got the meaning within it. ‘MOTIVE’ means aim or goal. Hence motivation happens only when one is driven towards a motive. The motive or the goal combined with hope ignites the fire within you.

There are some people who have goals but no hope; means they cannot see themselves achieving those goals. There are few others, who have high hopes about the life but no clear goals. Even during my School days, what made me to move ahead was some kind of hope in my life. During my higher secondary school days my teachers and friends used to ask me what I would want to become, for which I never had any answers. I never had any goals. But still I was very sure that I would become something in life. This was a hope. I used to dream myself to achieve something high in my career.... In my dreams I had become a doctor, pilot etc etc etc. I knew that one day I would become someone! A great hope, which kept me dreaming all the time. But there were no goals. Even there was no one to give me proper guidance during those days. Finally I got admission for my engineering graduation. Those period made me learned lot and set a goal to achieve in the career...............

Yes, I could achieve it only because I had a goal. But what gave me the confidence to set such a goal was the hope I was having in my life. The hope that there was something big and great in store for me.

One needs to sow the seeds of GOALS in the field of HOPE to harvest the desired results. Ultimately if destination is clear then path can be found out. Most of the people among us has no clear destination. Hope and idea are the main fertilizers to grow a better dream and reap the success.

Define the Thoughts, Decide Your Destiny!!!!

Define your thoughts which will aid you in deciding your destiny.

Believe in yourself: Nothing can be more fruitful than this. Self-belief is a must before you define your thoughts. Believe that the entire universe is waiting to help you, to achieve your desired and deserving goal. Believe that you are the maker of your destiny.

Understand Yourself: Take a stock of what you do on a daily basis. Think of the thought processes that flow in your mind during work, interactions etc. If you’re sitting alone, do not take those thoughts for granted. In fact, they are the most important thoughts to capture. Understand the person in you.

Assess and Accept Yourself: Assessment of the thoughts compared to set standards, is essential. Standards are those which you think is ideal, i.e., your super-ego state. After assessment, do not get discouraged that you have flaws, for there will be NO man in a usual world who will find zero-flaws in his mental system. Accept the flaws.

Plan and Practice Yourself: Planning involves, inner-questioning. The expectations that you have from yourself. Continuous reinforcement of positive thoughts is a must here.

Sustain Yourself: Always be conscious of the thoughts. Sustain the practice.

This will shape your thought process. I wish you, all confidence and courage to strongly define your thoughts which will ultimately lead you to a destiny of strength. “Thoughts become things, Choose the good one”

Lonely Gal !!!!

She always cried to reveal pains
But no one could hear that
That is the way she grown up...

Sometimes she would dream and it was a night mare
She wanted to bleed from her heart
she carved her dreams in to her deepest skin.

Her pains were in a diary, under the pillow
Would let no one see it, she could still see it
It was all of hers, she loved it......

She always imagined the crazy things
People tired to crop her craziness
They asked "Why cant you be practical?"

But now they had stopped pushing
She was crushed
And stiffed to the cold!!!!

Quotes on Inner Peace!!!

If you have inner peace, nobody can force you to be a slave to the outer reality.
Once we have this inner peace, world peace can be achieved in the twinkling of an eye.
My inner peace
Does not select anybody,
Does not reject anybody.
My inner peace
Always self-givingly projects itself.
“When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.”
                      - Peace Pilgrim
“Possession of material riches, without inner peace, is like dying of thirst while bathing in a lake.”
                          - Paramahansa Yogananda
“Peace, for example, starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighboring communities, and so on.”
                                                 - Dalai Lama
Freedom from desire leads to inner peace.
                                                               - Lao Tse
A smile is the beginning of peace.
                                                - Mother Teresa
It isn’t enough to talk about peace, one must believe it.
And it isn’t enough to to believe in it, one must work for it.
                                                                                 - Eleanor Roosevelt

As we cruised to Victory !!!!

As the Men in Blue cruised to Victory on Saturday night, the whole Nation chanted in Union, India! India!
A Victory dedicated to the Master Blaster who dedicated his life to Indian Cricket.
As Dhoni, hit a sixer, the whole country hit a Rampage.
The cheers and frenzy of a maddened crowd who celebrated victory through Saturday night and Sunday.
A Proud moment for Indians through the World.
Our Boys in Blue made us Proud.
A Night we shall never Forget (2nd April 2011).
Magical moments of life which will remain etched on Our Memories.
The country was united irrespective of Caste, Class or Religion.
Rich and Poor came together cheering on the Streets.
Emotional moments in the life of Every Indian.
Our Boys gave their life as they seem to say, Give respect, you are talking to World Champions.
The country faced so much in the past.
We were the victims of heinous terror attacks.
Our victory in World Cup 2011 comes at an opportune Moment.
We deserve to be on top of the World.
The celebrations on the streets shows that selfish politicians have lost their battle.
The Nation was United as we cruised to Victory.
Team India have restored our pride and the self belief taught so much about life.
Dhoni and Boys snatched victory against the odd tides.
It’s admirable and we should take a leaf from our cricket team.
Never say Die and fight till the end.
We are proud to be Indians.
We are proud of our Men in Blue. Chak De India!!!!

Get your hands dirty!!!

If you want to be successful, work hard, dirty your hands - and go beyond your specific roles.
....Sometimes, the biggest lessons in life come from very unlikely sources.

1. Getting a driving license does not make you a driver. “But it was only after several months of driving a car that he/she actually learn to drive, and became a real driver.” A license is only a permit – and not a stamp of authority. An MBA does not make you a manager. It is only after you spend several more years learning on the job that you truly qualify to call yourself a manager. Many young people confuse getting a degree as signifying the end of their learning. Wrong. It's just the beginning. A Bachelors degree or a Masters degree – the license – simply marks you out as someone qualified to learn from real life experiences. It doesn't make you an expert.

2. The real world is very different from a classroom. For example “I learnt to drive a car. But my first job required me to drive a little tempo. The steering wheel was different, and so were the gears. I thought I knew how to drive – but I couldn’t even get the tempo started.” The world outside the classroom is a very different place. That's as true for engineers and MBAs and accountants as it is for drivers. Get ready to get surprised.

 3. Get your hands dirty. “I spent nights working as a cleaner. That's when I learnt all about the insides of an automobile. Knowing what's under the bonnet has made me a better driver today.” The brightest marketing professionals in the country will tell you that they learnt their biggest lessons in the days they spent slogging in small towns selling soaps or colas. There's no other way. If you want to be successful, work hard, dirty your hands – and go beyond your specific role.

 4. Initially, what you learn is more important than what you earn. “In my first job, the pay was bad but the boss was good. He gave me opportunities to learn, make mistakes. I banged his tempo quite a bit. While the dents were quickly repaired, the lessons I learnt remain firmly etched in my mind.” In your first job – don’t worry about pay packet or the size of the organization. Get a good boss. A good mentor. That’s priceless.

 5. Don't worry about which car you drive. Focus on being a good driver. “I always wanted to drive the best cars – but rather than complain about having to drive a tempo or a school van or the city transport bus, I focused on driving well. I told myself that if I do that, the good cars will come. And they did.” Now that's a great lesson. It's not about the company. It’s about you. Do the best with what you have, wherever you are. We could all benefit by staying focused on doing a great job – rather than worrying about the next job, or the next promotion. Do a good job. Success and happiness will follow. Inevitably.

Rules of Motivation

#1. Set a major goal, but follow a path. The path has mini goals that go in many directions. When you learn to succeed at mini goals, you will be motivated to challenge grand goals.

#2. Finish what you start. A half finished project is of no use to anyone. Quitting is a habit. Develop the habit of finishing self-motivated projects.

#3. Socialize with others of similar interest. Mutual support is motivating. We will develop the attitudes of our five best friends. If they are losers, we will be a loser. If they are winners, we will be a winner. To be a cowboy we must associate with cowboys.

#4. Learn how to learn.  Dependency on others for knowledge supports the habit of procrastination. Man has the ability to learn without instructors. In fact, when we learn the art of self-education we will find, if not create, opportunity to find success beyond our wildest dreams.

#5. Harmonize natural talent with interest that motivates. Natural talent creates motivation, motivation creates persistence and persistence gets the job done.

#6. Increase knowledge of subjects that inspires. The more we know about a subject, the more we want to learn about it. A self-propelled upward spiral develops.

#7. Take risk. Failure and bouncing back are elements of motivation. Failure is a learning tool. No one has ever succeeded at anything worthwhile without a string of failures.
